These are necessary:
1- Hot Curler or Velcro curlers
2- 1 inch barrel curling iron
3- Light, strong-hold mousse (if you have)
Dry hair after washing and blow-dry 80%, comb the hair in 1.5-inch sections. You can either hot or Velcro curlers curlers. Hot Curlers are my preference, because the style lasts longer without the need for hair spray or styling products. Place the curler on the head, for volume and waves, leave in 20 minutes.

Step 1: Mist damp hair with texturizing spray and then blow-dry haphazardly while shaking out your hair with your fingers.
Step 2: Take random sections of hair from half-inch to one-inch thickness, and twist. Wrap the twisted section loosely around the barrel of a medium curling iron and hold for a few seconds to set the curl. Release and repeat all over, alternating the direction of the curl.
